Inspired by shapes found in the concrete playgrounds of the Park Hill flats, Sheffield.
The unconventional designs were constructed at the same time as the flats themselves, between 1957 and 1961. They offered a place for children living in the surrounding social housing to let their own imaginations drive their play.

Biography
Laura graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2007 with a first class BA (Hons) degree in Textile Design. An invaluable internship at Timorous Beasties in Glasgow enabled her to move into her first role as design assistant to Clarissa Hulse in London. Laura worked alongside Clarissa for over two years on her internationally successful interior textile and gift ranges. In the years since, Laura has worked on various design projects for interiors and fashion retailers and suppliers. She began developing her own products in 2013 and which have since been sold in the Barbican, The Southbank Centre and the Hepworth Wakfield, among others. She has also travelled extensively which contributes to her varied design style and vast image archive.
