Designed by LC Howitt architects, the Grade ll listed building in Fallowfield, Manchester was formally known as the ‘Hollings Building’. Completed in 1960, the catering college at Manchester Polytechnic (now University) soon adapted the name the ‘Toast Rack’ and is an iconic building in the city.
