Laura Knight Studio

Laura designs items that she herself would like to own and live with, as well as taking on creative commissions.

She draws inspiration from graphic contrasts in pattern, colour and raw materials. Often her designs are led by imagery and pattern, but sometimes, it is the materials themselves, or the making process, which serve as a starting point.

Wherever possible, her products are made in the UK, from high quality materials that will stand the test of time. As an environmentally conscious studio we endeavour to minimise and reuse waste and use sustainable packaging. Our clear protective sleeves are made from corn starch (annually renewable) and are fully bio-degradable and compostable, breaking down to CO2 and H2O.

Architecturally inspired art prints, greetings cards and stationery.
Proving that colour and pattern can be simple, contemporary and
minimal. All products are made in the UK.

The park play homeware collection.

Inspired by shapes found in the concrete playgrounds of the Park Hill flats, Sheffield.
The unconventional designs were constructed at the same time as the flats themselves, between 1957 and 1961. They offered a place for children living in the surrounding social housing to let their own imaginations drive their play.
